The Valero Texas Open will be held April 1-4, 2021, on the Oaks Course at TPC San Antonio.

The staff

Roby Robertson, CGCS, is the director of golf course operations at TPC San Antonio, where he has worked for three years. A graduate of Kansas State University, Robertson has been a golf course superintendent for 30 years and is a 33-year member of GCSAA. This will be the fifth PGA event and ninth professional tour event Robertson has hosted.

Last summer, Robertson and his team hosted two Korn Ferry Tour events in two consecutive weeks. GCM chatted with Robertson about pulling off that rare doubleheader in Double visions: Venues prep for back-to-back tournaments.
